Student Workshops for Introducing Students to a Community Safety Module in Second Life

This pilot study was carried out as part of the development of a teaching and learning resource based on a virtual community for a second year Criminology module on community safety at Coventry University. Using this resource students would be able to enact scenarios based on role play providing solutions to problems and evaluating outcomes relating to crime antisocial behaviour and other safety issues within a simulated community context.
