In 2010, Aberystwyth University began introducing performance and development review mechanisms, with a view to supporting these mechanisms with an online system. Bangor university already has an institution-wide performance review process, but was at a point where they wished to review this. This formed the basis of discussion which led to the application for funding from the Leadership Foundation.
