Taking STEPs to enhance practice learning - HEA Annual Conference 2017 - Generation TEF: Teaching in the spotlight

This workshop aims to introduce STEP Strengthening Team-based Education in Practice a large collaborative HEE funded project focusing on pre-registration nursing and midwifery across North Central and East London. One of the initiatives ‘Taking STEPS to enhance practice learning’ has 5 key themes which are considered core in the development of an overall learning framework. Within this workshop the 5 themes will be used to explore the pedagogy of learning in professional practice analyse the findings and outputs of the research undertaken learn from workshop participants and consider recommendations and new collaborations for future developments.
