Teaching and Learning Conference 2019: Escape tradition with interactive teaching experiences

Following a high turnover of academic staff we were faced with a wide-scale training activity over three campuses.  Most staff were new teachers and had little time and a lack of skills using technology. This presentation highlights an interactive experience used to engage staff with technology that also gave them a structure to reuse the same idea in the classroom. Objectives of the session are to explore the benefits of reusable interactive experiences to teach train or raise awareness; discover ways to engage academic staff/students to learn in this way; and identify methods used to create a reusable interactive experience to teach academic staff or students.
