This case study looks at engaging students' interest in maths as it relates to biology and building their confidence in tackling biological mathematical problems. Students are given a diagnostic maths test when they first start the course and are then split into groups depending on their scores. Groups are given a variety of exercises and activities to support the development of their maths and statistics skills.
