Teaching Medieval Armenia

A guide to integrating Medieval Armenia into the teaching of medieval history and the opportunities for comparative studies it affords. Medieval Armenia invites comparison with other medieval cultures and societies at several different levels. Such comparison will allow students to highlight similarities and differences between medieval societies give them access to original source material in a field that none of them will have studied previously and also place them at the forefront of research for there has been no recent comparative work between medieval Armenia and western Europe.
