Teaching Statistics – web help from the USA

In the past the UK developments in teaching statistics have been well ahead of the USA (clearly an unbiased and objective assessment). However over the years there has been a significant growth in interest in statistical education in universities and schools the USA and there are now many well funded initiatives and web resources that in spite of differences between the University systems can be of value to UK teachers. We have made use of many of these in the development of the Royal Statistical Society (RSS) Certificate in Teaching Statistics in Higher Education and felt that a wider audience might also find them useful.
