"Tell me what I need to know": learning to address the challenge of changing student expectations

A paper from the HEA Annual Conference 2009.This paper examines data extracted from phase one of a project exploring enquiry based learning as a means of fostering learner autonomy. The experiences of staff involved in the project are used to identify barriers and success criteria in the implementation of more student centred approaches to learning.
