A presentation from the Arts and Humanities Annual Conference 2014.
The session aims to discuss and explore different ways to flip the classroom and how combining flipping with other teaching and learning methods and aims can work. One aspect of the session will be a presentation of the existing accolades and critiques of “flipping” in HE and of an experiment with a modified flipping model combined with student-led assessment. The second and longer aspect of the session will be a group discussion on finding flipping models and creating your own and how a flipped classroom can be fertile ground for other pedagogies.
