Pre-arrival shared reading is currently flavour-of-the-month with many universities actively considering involvement. How to frame the activity can be more contentious – should this be managed within organisational marketing or pedagogic research? We shared bespoke editions of the same book access to the author and all processes and outcomes within our similar but distinct populations. In this session we offer the chance to share the key issues we had to tackle – and reflect on what was learned.
