Motivation for undertaking continuing education by veterinary professionals is based on the need to undertake mandatory CPD relevant to practice. Barr (2015) stated that a range of CPD formats were needed across the sector in order for busy professionals to engage in a mode that best suits their needs. This session will explore how a technology enhanced part-time study format has facilitated ‘learning whilst earning’ as well as promoting development of practice in students geographically remote to the institution. The session will also provide an opportunity to discuss how this format could be extended to other student groups.
