What is a politics degree? Mapping the Curriculum and Assessment in the U.K.

This project surveys the core undergraduate curricula in both single and dual honours programmes in Politics and International Relations. All required modules and their assessments will be recorded. These types of modules are often more general in scope and less likely to change with staff turnover or changing research interests than electives and fully mapping the entire curricula of every programme is beyond the means of this project. Restricting the data to required modules will identify the core elements of these programmes while gathering a manageable amount of data.
