Advance HE CEO, Alison Johns, welcomed the publication of TEF 3 Awards today, “These awards point to the excellent quality of teaching across the higher education sector in the UK. It’s important to remember that TEF measures excellence above and beyond demanding national quality requirements, and institutions who have successfully achieved one of the TEF categories have much to celebrate.

“Advance HE welcomes the dynamic debate and focus on teaching excellence and we will continue to support institutions in the ongoing development of both teaching strategies and staff who lead or deliver teaching.

A key group in shaping the debate and focus on teaching excellence has been the Advance HE PVC Network (DVCs, PVCs and Vice Principals for Learning and Teaching) and we look forward to continuing that work through this important forum.”
