In a webinar hosted by Advance HE and HEPI, our speakers debated balancing equalities priorities alongside broader issues and tensions around the presence of institutional racism, a mental health and well-being crisis, sluggish social mobility and continuing gender disparities – asking how leaders support all these priorities at the same time, particularly during a pandemic? A whole institutional approach is powerful, but how does strategic organisational leadership and governance need to evolve to encompass all of the related issues?
