Dr Nicola Jane Rees (was Aries)

National Teaching Fellow 2004 Nicola Rees is Course Director, Admissions tutor and a Principal Lecturer of the School of Law. She has influenced the rethinking of law teaching at Kingston, redesigned all the publicity material and the induction programme, and has developed several support initiatives including a peer support scheme. She has led teams from Kingston to success in competitions, including representing England and Wales at the International Client Counselling Competition in 2001 and 2004.

National Teaching Fellow 2004 Nicola Rees is Course Director, Admissions tutor and a Principal Lecturer of the School of Law. She has influenced the rethinking of law teaching at Kingston, redesigned all the publicity material and the induction programme, and has developed several support initiatives including a peer support scheme. She has led teams from Kingston to success in competitions, including representing England and Wales at the International Client Counselling Competition in 2001 and 2004. With her NTFS award, Nicola sent mentor students into Kingston's partner colleges and schools to promote higher education. She has introduced a new scheme, The Quest, which delivers on the employability and transferable skills agenda. Nicola also undertook significant work with Cayman Law School in the wake of Hurricane Ivan. Nicola has completed her project and reported successfully.
