National Teaching Fellow 2005 Phil Gravestock is Head of Learning Enhancement & Technology Support at the University of Gloucestershire. His main interests are in inclusive education and technology-enhanced learning. Phil's interest in inclusion and diversity, specifically disability, arose through supporting disabled students undertaking geological fieldwork. He co-edited the Geography Discipline Network series of six guides on Learning Support for Disabled Students Undertaking Fieldwork and Related Activities and authored the publication 'Developing an Inclusive Curriculum: a guide for lecturers' as part of the HEFCE-funded Inclusive Curriculum Project. He was Director of the HEFCE-funded Disability CPD project, which produced an online course and guide for academic and support staff involved in the learning and teaching of disabled students in higher education. With Sue Grace he co-wrote the Routledge publication 'Inclusion and Diversity: meeting the needs of all students', part of the Key Guides for Effective Teaching in Higher Education series. More recently, Phil has been involved in developing the use of digital storytelling in higher education, specifically through leading one of the Higher Education Academy-JISC Pathfinder projects. This project aligns with Phil's interest of supporting continual professional development for staff through the use of technology-enhanced learning.
