Mr David John Grantham

National Teaching Fellow 2001 David is a part-time higher education consultant who used his fellowship in order to build support for colleagues wishing to innovate, learn and develop good practice through the effective use of communication and information technology. He has since developed an innovative and interactive web-based course for new teachers of law that will be made available in 2009. This includes various strategies for introducing teaching and learning innovations into lectures.

He has since developed an innovative and interactive web-based course for new teachers of law that will be made available in 2009. This includes various strategies for introducing teaching and learning innovations into lectures. In the last few years David has conducted education evaluations and been working with colleagues on work-based learning programmes as well as supported teams of academics working in the field of applied research with an education focus. Current workshops cover retention, assessment for retention, personal and intellectual development of students and action learning for managers. Ongoing research interests include action learning, student development and reflective professional practice for academics.
