The Incontext website has been sustained through a 'community of users' based on annual subscription fees. The model has been successful with thirty six HE institutions subscriptions and 1950 individual registrants. Keith has developed various pedagogies for the use of the case notes/virtual hospital to inform learning and teaching. These approaches have been generally well received by collaborating institutions but the challenge as always is how to develop the curriculum away from teaching content and its assessment to one of learning through engagement and its recording.

Advance HE recognises there are different views and approaches to teaching and learning, as such we encourage sharing of practice, without advocating or prescribing specific approaches. NTF and CATE awards recognise teaching excellence in a particular context. The profiles featured are self-submitted by award winners.
