Aliah is currently studying the FdSc in Health and Social Care at University Campus North Lincolnshire. After creating a health promotion intervention as part of a modular assessment for Health Promotion she was named the overall winner at the Chamber Challenge, 2024. Aliah’s winning entry is a Children’s Book called ‘Please Don’t Stare’ was inspired by her service user. Aliah currently works as a Health Care Assistant for a young man with complex needs. Working with him and taking him out into the community over the last few years motivated her to embark on her academic journey. Aliah thoroughly enjoyed studying the Health Promotion module and creating the health promotion tool to honour her service user and others living with disabilities.
