Dr Ada Adeghe

Dr Ada Adeghe is the Associate Dean for Inclusivity at the University of Wolverhampton (UoW). Her current role involves working with colleagues across the university to close all awarding gaps and nurture a sense of belonging for all staff and students. She leads on embedding the University’s inclusive framework and has a strong and unwavering commitment to Education for social Justice and widening participation and creating access to education for non-traditional learners in higher education.

Ada Chairs the University’s Race, Disability Equality and Athena Swan Gender action delivery groups and was Chair of the UoW’s Global Majority Staff Network. She has worked in a variety of senior roles in further and higher education and has gained considerable insights into the challenges and issues that impact on access, continuation and progression of students from marginalised communities. She also sits on the UoW’s Board of Governors.
