Originally lecturing at University Centre Peterborough (UCP), Gabe became HE Curriculum Lead for Performing Arts in 2018, leading on validations with Anglia Ruskin and Open University, and establishing commended employer partnerships, including industry-immersed learning space at the Key Theatre. Gabe was also Staff Governor and UCU Branch Chair for the wider Inspire Education Group.
In 2021, Gabe progressed to a role as HE Development Manager at United Colleges Group (UCG), tasked with rapid quality improvement via a QSR Action Plan and removal of OfS Specific Conditions and Enhanced Monitoring. Following success in this role, Gabe progressed into a wider role as Assistant Principal Performance, Quality, and Innovation.
Gabe is thrilled to have recently re-engaged his passion for College HE at Newham, along with project work for the OfS, and as an external examiner/reviewer/advisor/consultant to a range of College and alternative HE providers.
Gabe is a HEA Fellow and Member of the Institute of Leadership, with BA (Hons), ERASMUS, MA, and PGCHE qualifications from leading international conservatoires.
