At HSBC she was European Head of Corporate Real Estate, where she bought together disparate national teams and instilled a sense of unity and collaboration. In Australia she was an industry leader, holding roles as Global Head of Corporate Real Estate for ANZ Bank, Managing Director of Commercial and Industrial Management at AMP Henderson Global Investors as well as senior property leadership roles with Jones Lang LaSalle and Lend Lease Corporation.
Driven initially by an interest in good design and the positive influence it can have on business performance and staff engagement, throughout her career Jane, has supported the development of people-focused workplaces. This has extended into a determined effort to foster and nurture diverse and engaged teams, reflective of the communities they serve. Jane has championed the development of people and vibrant and healthy workplace cultures as a driver of sustainable business development. Jane believes this is particularly relevant for a board and a University Council where a values driven culture is an essential ingredient of good governance.
