He is also the current President of the Association of Graduate Careers Advisor Services (AGCAS), serving a two-year term championing the higher education careers and employability sector, ending December 2024. As an independent member of the Office for Students Quality and Assessment Committee, Paul works with peer across the sector to advise the OfS Board on quality issues. With an interest in all things higher education, Paul is currently studying a part-time PhD researching ‘UK student perceptions of value for money in higher education’, which is a longitudinal study interviewing a cohort of students from North West universities throughout their student journey.
