Gabrielle Finn
Job Title:Director of the Health Professions Education Unit, Professor of Medical Education
Institution: University of York
Year: 2019
Professor Gabrielle Finn is Director of the Health Professions Education Unit at Hull York Medical School, University of York. Through research, scholarship and engaging teaching, she advocates the creation of collaborative learning networks to support diverse groups of learners, as well as pioneering new pedagogic approaches such as ultraviolet body-painting.

Catherine Hobbs
Job Title:Associate Dean for Research and Enterprise

Year: 2019
Professor Catherine Hobbs is a mathematician and Principal Fellow, and currently an Associate Dean at UWE Bristol. She has pioneered the use of inquiry-based teaching and learning approaches at The University of the West of England, such as 'flipped' classroom, as well as the use of technology-enhanced learning. She uses her national roles within professional bodies to share practice.
Colin Macdougall
Job Title:Head of Medical Education
Institution: University of Warwick
Year: 2019
Professor Colin Macdougall's contribution to enhancing medical education at the University of Warwick, as well as nationally and internationally, is highly significant both in terms of its depth and breadth. Throughout his career he has been at the forefront of reimagining and enhancing the learner experience in academic and clinical contexts, and his contribution to the development of apprenticeship pedagogy in clinical contexts has been deeply influential both at Warwick and beyond.
Heather McQueen
Job Title:Professor of Biology Education
Institution: The University of Edinburgh
Year: 2019
Professor Heather McQueen is an award-winning advocate of student-centred learning and research-led teaching, and supports colleagues to take a scholarly approach towards helping students flourish. Her teaching innovations have led to published research on aspects of collaborative online learning, Facebook groups and good scholarship, active learning and personalised, constructive learning in lectures.
Professor Graham Meikle
Job Title:Professor of Communication and Digital Media
Institution: University of Westminster
Year: 2019
Professor Graham Meikle is Professor of Communication and Digital Media at the University of Westminster. He is a Research Professor, course leader for a Master’s degree, teaches a core first-year undergraduate module, and supervises PhD students. Graham is a Senior Fellow and has published seven books.
Katharine Hubbard

Ms Leisa Nichols-Drew

Leisa loves collaborating with NTFs (and aspiring) on innovative, immersive and inclusive resources utilising novel technologies. During the Covid pandemic, with 2 other forensic science NTFs, they co-created an international Criminal Justice network to support practitioners, HE and FE colleagues with online learning. Having delivered HE in FE, Leisa champions FE colleagues, to celebrate their unique perspective, in enriching the NTF community. Additionally, Leisa is proud to be neurodiverse and supports colleagues with disabilities.
Justin O'Brien
