Andrea Miller

Andrea Miller began her career as a rock journalist and indie record label manager. Joining the BBC, she produced numerous arts documentaries such as David Hockney’s Secret Knowledge; Peter Ackroyd’s Dickens and Van Gogh: Painted in Words with Benedict Cumberbatch. As a producer and commissioning executive, she worked with international broadcasters winning awards from BAFTA, RTS, Grierson, Banff Film Festival, and an International Emmy.

In 2012, Andrea produced Columbia Business School’s first online course, Personal Leadership and headed MetFilm School’s BA Practical Filmmaking.  A London Business School Executive MBA, Andrea co-founded an independent production company, winning peak time factual series. She recently produced and directed a short film using cutting edge Virtual Production techniques.  

Her boardroom experience includes the arts organisation NVA, The Edinburgh International Festival and The Restoration Fund. In 2023 she joined the University of West London’s Board of Governors.
