Driving Your Career Development

Following any leadership programme, it is beneficial to carve out time to reflect on personal career progress and ambitions and the impact of the programme on personal and career development aims.  The Career Development programme will support delegates in building a focus on their own career progression, building on the benefits gained from participation in the Aurora programme for both the individual and their institution. 

In this interactive session, you will work through a series of exercises designed to encourage reflection on yourself, your skills, your career aspirations, and the responsibility to manage your career development ongoing.  The content has at its heart the lens of career development for women in HE and discussion specific to this topic is built into the session throughout. 

Delivered as 2 half days online, this module is designed to bring your future career development into sharp focus. Through interactive sessions, you will engage in a series of exercises aimed at fostering reflection on your personal attributes, skills, career aspirations, and the proactive management of your ongoing career growth. The core theme of the content revolves around career development for women in higher education, with specific discussions on this topic integrated throughout the session.
